The Project
Overview
The widening and strengthening of National Highway N-70 (Rakhi Gajj – Bewata section) under the East-West Road Improvement Project included deep foundations through rock.
Working for Habib Rafiq (Pvt) Ltd under main contractor Taisei Corporation, Rafique Shah & Co. carried out drilling, blasting and mucking for open cut excavation and cast-in-place (CIP) deep pile excavation, completed safely between December 2016 and October 2018.

Blast, muck and re-drill cycles coordinated with the main contractor's piling programme.

Completion
Work certified by Taisei Corporation as completed safely and sufficiently.
